Communications World Network (CWW) March 14th, CDMA Development Group (CDG) announced today that Africa and the Middle East have become the fastest growing regions in terms of 3G CDMA networks and subscribers, and 65 operators in 38 countries have established This technology has been chosen to provide low-cost telecommunications services to more than 12 million subscribers in the region. In the list of operators below, Telecom Algeria, Movicel in Angola, Starcomms in Nigeria, Sudatel in Sudan, Wana in Morocco and Yemen Mobile have all passed the one million mark in the past year. These milestones demonstrate that CDMA2000 ® is rapidly becoming the technology of choice in emerging markets
